I have read all of the Seaside books (more than once), and have now listened to most of them. B.J. Harrison is wonderful with the voices. After listening to several of his entries, I can't imagine anyone else narrating for Amy and Tony.

Seaside Secrets is a great addition to the Love in Bloom Series by Melissa Foster. It is filled with laughter, loss and most importantly love. Amy Maples is the most consistent and dependable one of their Seaside friends. For as long as she can remember there has only been one man for her, Tony Black the world famous Surfer. They dated fourteen years ago but it ended with a tragic accident. Since then they remained close friends and spend summers at The Cape with their Seaside friends. Amy decides that she would like to try one last time to catch Tony's attention. Both have secrets that must be dealt with to have a future together.
This was a powerfully written book that made me laugh, cry and truly feel for the characters. Melissa Foster is a captivating author who intricately laces the storylines among her characters so that the reader is always ready for more! I can't wait for the next book in this series!
I can never seem to get enough of Melissa Foster's books. I am always waiting on another book by her. This book was well worth the wait. I have loved Amy and Tony, and this made for a great story. It made for a beautiful story about second chances and friends to lovers. Another hit!!
It's no secret that Amy Maples has had the hot's for Tony Black since they were kids. All of the Seaside girls knew it as did most of the adults but what they didn't know was that they were once a couple. For one short summer they hid their attraction from everyone so no one ever knew about the tragic accident that tore them apart and changed both of their lives forever. Now fourteen years later, Amy has been trying for years to get Tony to see her that way again but he keeps putting her off. This year it's now or never because she's been offered a job across the globe that will keep her far away from Wellfleet for quite some time. Getting back with Tony though means dealing with their past as well as coming clean with her best friends.
This story was heartbreaking to read at times. I couldn't imagine going through what Amy went through alone but I'm not sure that I would have done things any differently than she did either. The whole Seaside gang is back for this one and since Sky has become such a big part of the storyline, I'm hoping that she will have own story as well even though she wasn't part of the original Seaside gang.
While this story can be read as a standalone book, it's much more enjoyable when read as a series.
Seaside Secrets is a great addition to Melissa Fosters’s Live in Bloom series. Tony and Amy have loved each other for years. They have a past together that no one knows of. Tony and Amy have tried to move on from each other but just don’t seem able to. Tony is always there making sure Amy is safe and taken care of. Amy has longed for tony for years, just waiting for him to make the first move. Tired of waiting, Amy takes that first step and old feelings and memories surface. Tony and Amy are wonderful together. Once they sort through their past, they know they will have a strong future together.
As always B. J. Harrison brings life to the stories he narrates. I enjoy listening to his voice.
This book is Melissa Foster at her best. Amy & Tony have a secret. They've been besties for a long time & everyone thinks they'd make a cute couple. They all know that Amy has been in love with Tony forever. However, there's a tragedy in their past that they just can't get over. Amy has a job opportunity that will force her to move away so she decides to give Tony one more chance. Tony has been in love with Amy since they were teenagers. He's hoping they can get beyond their past to create their future together.
I loved this book! It has great characters that invoke the reader's sympathy from the beginning. The plot & dialogue touch the reader's emotions - happiness, grief, despair, anger, passion, sense of family. All are represented in various parts of the story. This is a great addition to the Love in Bloom series!!
